About the Critical Care Nursing Course

The North Trent Critical Care Network, in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University, provides a programme of specialist critical care education which provides 60 academic credits. This can provide a partial award at degree level or a postgraduate certificate.

 

 

 

 

Critical Care Course

The course consists of:

  • Module 1 - Critical Care Practice 30 credits
  • Module 2 - Principles of Critical Care 30 credits

 

Criteria for applying

To be eligible for either module you need to have completed local competencies and have a minimum of 12 months critical care experience. At post graduate level you would need a first degree and would be interviewed to establish whether you are eligible for study at this level.
